-Tsuka: The Tsuka (handle) core is wooden and it is tightly wrapped over genuine Ray skin (Samegawa) with black cotton ito wrapped. The Tang of the sword is secured by two Mekugi (pegs) . you can unassembled the blade from the handle by taking out the bamboo mekugi.
-Saya: The saya (sheath) of the sword is hard wooden with high quality lacquer be shine. koiguchi, kurikata,kojiri made of black horn.
-The balde was made of 9260 spring steel in Maru structure,it was Fully hand forged, hand shaping, hand polishing in the most traditional method of sword making. The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness and flexibility of the balde for real use.
